Drawing_Pattern

Drawing_Pattern est un projet collaboratif, offrant la possibilité de soumettre un dessin numérique ou manuel pour moduler la texture de différents objets. Une fois importé sur cette même page, un travail algorithmique permet de moduler des reliefs ou des tressages suivant les lignes noires dessinées à la main. Des simulations 3D des objets imprimés sont alors mis en ligne sur la page permettant d'observer les effets des différents dessins.
Le but de ce projet est de produire une collection d'objets numériques personnalisés, qui seront matérialisés par l'impression 3D céramique seulement à la demande de l'usager, soucieux d'une production soutenable.

Drawing_Pattern is a collaborative project, offering the possibility to submit a digital or manual drawing to modulate the texture of different objects. Once imported on this same page, an algorithmic work allows to modulate reliefs or weavings following the black lines drawn by hand. 3D simulations of the printed objects are then put online on the page allowing to observe the effects of the different drawings.
The goal of this project is to produce a collection of personalized digital objects, which will be materialized by ceramic 3D printing only at the request of the user, concerned with a sustainable production.
